Article 34: Settlement

Part X — SETTLEMENT, ARB-MED-ARB, AND INTEGRATED ADR

34.1 The parties may settle their dispute at any stage. The Tribunal shall, at the request of the parties, record the settlement as an award on agreed terms under Section 30 of the Act, provided the settlement is not contrary to law or public policy.

Parties with a valid arbitration agreement may file a Notice of Arbitration under the Consolidated Rulebook. The Secretariat acknowledges within one business day.

Commence a Matter

Withdrawal within fourteen days of the Notice is permitted under Article 7 without forfeiture of the Registration Fee *.
