File a Case with Lex Arbitrate

Notice, Request, and Response

Proceedings commence with the filing of a Notice of Arbitration or a Request for Mediation. The Registry acknowledges filing within two working days, issues a case number, and commences the institutional timeline from the date of acknowledgement.

Filing Requirements

Filing requires: the parties, a copy of the arbitration or mediation agreement, a brief statement of the dispute, the relief claimed, and proof of payment of the registration fee. Online filing is available through the Registry portal, and filings may be submitted in English, Hindi, or any seat-language supported by the institution.

Parties with a valid arbitration agreement may file a Notice of Arbitration under the Consolidated Rulebook. The Secretariat acknowledges within one business day.

Commence a Matter

Withdrawal within fourteen days of the Notice is permitted under Article 7 without forfeiture of the Registration Fee *.
