This page sets out the institutional position of Lex Arbitrate and the limits of what the website is and is not. It is read alongside the Bar Council of India Rule 36 acknowledgement that appears on first visit.
1. The Centre and the Registry
Lex Arbitrate is an institutional centre administering arbitration, mediation, and structured negotiation under its Consolidated Rulebook. Institutional communications are issued only by the Registry. The Centre does not act for, advise, or represent any party to a dispute. Counsel for the parties continue to be the parties' own counsel of record.
2. Nothing on this website is legal advice
The materials on this website — including the Rulebook, the Lexicon, Knowledge publications, the Schedule I fee calculator, and the Section 29A indicative-resolution widget — are institutional information. They do not constitute legal advice, do not create an advocate-client relationship, and are not a substitute for the considered advice of qualified counsel admitted in the relevant jurisdiction.
3. No solicitation
Nothing on this website is intended as advertising or solicitation under Rule 36 of the Bar Council of India Rules. Visitors arrive of their own accord. The Centre does not pursue, approach, or solicit work. The institutional acknowledgement modal that appears on first visit records this position.
4. Indicative figures
Numbers on the website — the Schedule I fee calculator, the Section 29A countdown, the eighteen-month award target, comparative cost bands — are indicative. They reflect institutional targets and benchmarks. The actual fee, timeline, and outcome of any matter are governed by the Rulebook in force at the time of commencement, the Tribunal's rulings, and the parties' agreement.
5. Forward-looking statements
Lex Arbitrate is a young institution. References to caseload, awards, panel depth, or institutional performance reflect the current operational state and the Centre's stated targets, not historical track record.
6. Third-party content and links
Where this website cites or links external sources — Bar and Bench, SCC Online, Indian government portals, foreign arbitral institutions — the Centre does not adopt or endorse the cited content. External links are provided for institutional reference only.
7. Confidentiality on the website
Sending an unsolicited communication to addresses on this website does not establish a confidential channel. Confidentiality attaches to communications sent through the Registry under the Rulebook, after a matter has been commenced.
8. Governing law
This Disclaimer, and the use of this website, are governed by the laws of India. Disputes arising in connection with the use of this website are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi.
